She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Marin and Eunice Marin (Panure); her brother Larry Marin; her godson Joe Cappelle (Dale Englebert); her in-laws, Ervin and Frieda Begotka; her siblings-in-law, Gail Phillips, Mary Wakeup, Elaine Marin and Grant Begotka; and her niece Suzanne Terrien.
She is survived by: her husband Lynn Michael Begotka; her children, Dawn Begotka (Scott Cornelius) and Michael Begotka; her grandchildren, Annie, Riley and Calvin; her brothers-in-law, Gary Begotka, Lee Begotka (Carol) and Bill Phillips; and her godson Curt Ferrier. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family extends their gratitude to the compassionate staffs of Helping Hands Caregivers, Allouez Senior Living – Memory Care in building 2 and Compassus Hospice for all their care and guidance giving to Carol Jean during her Alzheimer's journey.
