She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Gillis and Eileen Gillis (Hilton); her sister Amy Weber VandenHouten; her parents-in-law, Joseph and Esther Piontek; and her pets, Ginger and Macey Jane.
She is survived by: her husband Mark; her children, Molly Paradise (Scott), Aaron Piontek (Mara), Heather Piontek of San Francisco, CA and Jenny Hickey of Philadelphia, PA; her granddaughters, Emma and Sydney Paradise; and her siblings, Fran Arendt (John), Nancy Koebel (Bill) and Dan Gillis (Mary). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
