He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilmore Stouffer and Viola Stouffer (Backes); his wife Claire Stouffer (Flasch); his daughter Rebecca Tremelling (Stouffer); and his sister Lory Labensky (Stouffer).
He is survived by: his sister Nancy Smith (Stouffer); his brother-in-law Barry; his niece Sara; his sons-in-law, Joe and Eric Tremelling; his grandchildren, Shaun Moehle, Madison Sanchez (Andrew), Katelyn Moehle, Landon Tremeling and Jacob Moehle; and his great grandchild Weston Sanchez-Moehle.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers make donations to the organization that made a huge impact on Dan, The E 50/ E75 LRRP Rangers.
