He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Fels and Adeline Fels (Schultz); his siblings, Bruce Fels and Beverly Kiekhaefer; and his niece Nancy Kiekhaefer.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ron Kiekhaefer, Green Bay, Lee, Neva Fels (Schultz), West, Karen, Dan Smet, De Pere, Lon and Lori Fels (Kalies); and his nieces and nephews, Russ, Sue, Kay, Kate, Stephen, Kari, Keith, Lisa, Scott, Chad, Karl, Pam and Mike.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Dan may be directed to either Faith Lutheran Church or the Wisconsin Lion's Foundation.
