He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael J. Barnard and Carolyn Barnard (Gibson); and his brother Tom. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Barnard (Socha); his daughters, Emily and Dorothy Barnard; and his sisters, Jane Barnard, Mary Barnard-Feit, Anne Bologna and Betsey Barnard. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
