He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Hecker and Catherine Van Hecker. He is survived by: his wife Denene; his children, Jennifer Dirks (Matt) and Quenten Van Hecker (Misty Lange); his grandchildren, Christian Dirks (Rachel) and Emelie Dirks (Aaron); his children, Jaime, Talon, Kaylee, Lydia, Ian, Sophia and Finn Van Hecker; his grandchildren, Ella and Benjamin; his great grandchild Remington Dirks; and his siblings, Vernell Van Hecker, Therese Marquardt, Gaylon Van Hecker (Gloria), Margaret, Mary Spicer (Guido), Bernadette Hansen and Yvonne Budimlija (Gary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
