He was predeceased by: his parents, V. W. Patton and Dena Patton (Krull); and his niece Julia Merfeld. He is survived by: his wife Linda Stingley; his son Jeffrey (Lori); his grandchildren, Jenny (Sam) and Nick (Kaylyn); his great grandchildren, Adalida Jo and John Henry; and his sisters, Bette Kosich (late Walter) and Edi Merfeld (Roger). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
