He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Jr. LaFlex and Romain LaFlex (Shuda); his wife Glory Alicea; his children, Justin Battershield (Natalie), Jason Battershield, Kayla Barrueta (Mario) and Mattanah LaFlex (Andrew); his grandchildren, Keira, Owen, Kellen, Gavin, Eden, Elena, Everly, Aria, McKinley and Connor; his siblings, Joseph Todd (Edith), Scott Allen (Keith) and Dawn LaFlex; and his siblings-in-law, Juan Alicea (Glynis), Rafael Alicea, Ana Balbuena (Ricardo), Hilda Wisneski (Mike), Tonya Boucher (Leon) and Harriet Alicea. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
