He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Priewe and Elsie Priewe (Krohn); his siblings, Eleanor Margraf, Robert Priewe, Gordon Priewe, Mary Gaull, Inez Krause, Dorothy McFarland, Richard Priewe and Alice Cunningham; and his parents-in-law, Wilbur "Wibby" and Ethel Schmidt.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Schmidt; his children, Todd Priewe (Jackie) of Beaver Dam, WI, Jennifer Kensmoe (Donny) of Green Bay, WI and Thomas Priewe (Kersten) of Milwaukee, WI; his grandchildren, Alec Priewe, Bailee Martinelli (Kyle), Taitum Priewe, Erika Priewe, Charlie Kensmoe and Cooper Kensmoe; his great grandchild Macklin Martinelli; his siblings, Eunice Helgeson, Gerald Priewe (Donna), Shirley Larsen, Bruce Priewe (Sandra), Ralph Priewe, Roger Gerhke (Shirley) and Walter Priewe (Pamela); and his brother-in-law Roger Cunningham. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
