She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Steffens and Mabel Steffens (Suelflohn); and her siblings, Mary Steffens, Audrey Dennis (Thomas), Phyllis Larson (Douglas), Donald Steffens and James Steffens.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Meert; her children, Greg Meert (Julie), Joe Meert (Tracy), Dave Meert and Smoothie; and her grandchildren, Shannon Fabry (Nick), Josh Meert (Mackenzie), Nick Meert and Janelle Meert. She is also survived by Other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
