He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Staidl and Lina Mae Staidl (Macfarlene); his wife Iola "Lois" Staidl; and his brother Eugene Staidl. He is survived by: his girlfriend Mary Kay Basten; his children, Donald McAllen (Patricia), Judy Timm (Clarence "Butch"), Sue Roska (Bob), Darla Libassi, Jim Basten (Heather), Perry Basten (Wendi), Carrie Smith (Stephen) and Kelly Baenen (Matthew); his sibling's children, Einard Staidl, Cindy Shallow (Harry) and Valerie Borkovec (Steve); and his sister-in-law Donna Staidl. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
