He was predeceased by: his father John Holewinski; and his son Mark. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Sparr; his children, Paul Holewinski (Amy), Mary Beth Webster (Curt), David Holewinski (Lisa), Ann Holewinski and Tom Holewinski (Jin); his grandchildren, Mark, Kate, John, Benjamin, Evelyn, Evan, Nora, Ella and Sam; and his brother-in-law Arnold Sparr. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Gene's name.
