He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Rabas and Marcella Rabas (Zahorik); his grandson Steven Rothe; his brothers, Donald, Eugene and Clarence Rabas; and his siblings-in-law, Elsa Christensen, Melvin "Pierre" Peterson, Carl Peterson, Hazel Hennington and Clyde Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Peterson; his children, Sherry Rabas (Mike Berge), Donna Schmitz (William), Joan Baldwin (Daniel) and John Rabas (Tracy); his grandchildren, Shannon Bell, Callista Colbo (James), Vincent Schmitz (Amanda), Abigail Dorneanu (Lucian), Alexis Rabas and Cooper Rabas; his great grandchildren, Kaseena Bell, Runa Colbo, Henrik Colbo, Maverick Schmitz and Kolter Schmitz; and his siblings-in-law, Dale Peterson (Pat), Rosalind Glover (Ken), Veronica Rabas, Darlene Rabas and Rita Rabas. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
