He was predeceased by : his parent Florence Berg (Nitka); his brother Patrick Berg; his brothers-in-law, Doug Blackmon, Jim Vande Hey and Little; and his brother Todd Leibergen.

He is survived by : his wife Diane; his sisters, Jean Berg, Barb Schneider (Roger) and Lynn Bomski (Jerry); his siblings-in-law, Linda Vande Hey, Jerry Andrews (Mary) and Allen Andrews (Marcia); his close friend Bruce Diezel; his aunt Alice Beauchaine; his cousin Fred; his siblings-in-law, Diane and Diego Borowitz; and his pet Jazmine. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
