He is survived by: his sons, Greg Meert (Julie), Joe Meert (Tracy) and Dave Meert; his grandchildren, Shannon Fabry (Nick), Josh Meert (Mackenzie), Nick Meert and Janelle Meert; his great grandchild Emerson Meert; and his siblings, Jim Meert and Karen Steger (Joe). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
