He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis F. Scray and Cora L. Scray (Rodaer); his wives, Karen Drake and Gail Bellisle (Crary); his brothers, Bernard Scray and Gordon Scray; and his grandson Nicholas Belanger.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Hernke (Rick), Gary Scray (Judy), Lisa Roderick (Jim), Gerald Jr. Scray (Carrie), Bonnie Scray (Jerry Mann), Jeff Scray (Tina) and Kevin Scray (Holly); and his siblings, Jerome Scray, Loretta VanDenElzen and Delores Kaminski. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
