He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley Ellis and Alberta Ellis (Harms); and his brother Charles Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Marie Knutson; his children, Michelle Ellis-Hutchings (Rob), Chris Ellis (Aldy), Kym Rosner (Pat) and Chad Strozewski; his grandchildren, Caleb, Grace Ellis-Hutchings, Dylan, Derek "Gwen" Strozewski, Brooke Kretsch and Grant Rosner; and his siblings, William Ellis (Jan), Karen Harrington (Gary), Donna Jensen, Sue Benisch, Terri Fisch (Rick) and Brian Ellis (Terri). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
