It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ignacio Saldana of Green Bay, Wisconsin, born in Bluffton, Ohio, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignacio Saldana and Petra Saldana; and his siblings, Simon Saldana, Bernice Saldana and Clarita Saldana.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Fredrickson (Gina), Ignacio Fredrickson and Ishmiel Fredrickson; his grandchildren, Cameron, Kaiya and James; his siblings, Esther Watkins, Bonnie Dickie, Irene Saldana, Santos Hernandez (Luis), Petra Poquette, Blanca Writt, Rolando Saldana (Cristina) and Emily Pineda; and his friend Jeannine Hirokane. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was always eager to join in a charity golf event, head to the course for a quick 9 holes, or spend the morning playing a full 18 holes. Whether, hitting the course for a quick 9, a full 18, or dedicating an entire day to help raise money for a local charity, Nacho simply loved being on the course and spending the time with his friends and family.
