With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irene E. Summers (Green Bay, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 24, 2025 at the age of 99. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Summers and Ella Summers (Nies); her siblings, Robert Summers, Joseph Summers (Everal), Rita Coenen (Clarence), Theresa Vaughn (Brawley) and Dennis Van Grinsven; her siblings' children, Roy Coenen, Dale Summers, Lee Van Grinsen, Joe Coenen and Julie Coenen; and her friend Lois Hackl.
She is survived by: her sister Ann Van Grinsven; and her close friends, Joan Daniels, Joan Warden, Mary Coleman, Phillis Clarkowski, Mary Cieslewicz, Judy Friedrichs and Kathy LaMae. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the St. Willebrord Catholic Church (209 S Adams St, Green Bay, WI 54301). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
