He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Bruette and Elizabeth Bruette (Wolf); and his siblings, Gayle Worden, Anthony "Tony" Wolf and George Bruette.

He is survived by: his siblings, Odile "Tweetie" Wolf, Felix "Pierre" Bruette Jr., Arthur Bruette, Valerie Bruette and Kim Powless; his stepson Derek; and his nephew Tony Bruette. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
