He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Nicholson and Marvella L. Nicholson (Niephaus); his aunt Ethel; his uncle Robert Grall; his siblings, Susan and William; his siblings-in-law, James Gries and Susan Zabran; and his nephew Peter.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sons, Daniel Nicholson (Chelsea) of Green Bay, Andrew Nicholson (Ge) of Green Bay and Michael Nicholson (Ann Kosterman) of Green Bay; his grandchildren, Haley Nicholson (Seth Weatherspoon), William and Madelyn Nicholson; his great grandchild Izaiah Weatherspoon; his brother Fredrick Nicholson (Mary); his siblings-in-law, Debra Buda (Richard), Kristine Lenzner (Steven), Thomas Gries (Lisa) and Joseph Zabran; his cousins, Christine Wedell (Phil) and Pamela Lorenz (William); his nieces and nephews, Dayna, Robin, Sara, Jessica, Bill, Stephanie Lenzner (Michael Nauman), Michael Lenzner (Erin), Katie Lenzner (Jason), Benjamin Gries (Kimberly), Allison Leary (Derik) and Josie Kandish (Josh); and his friends, Jim, Jill Chadek, Mike, Mary Daley, Phil, Nan Groll, Dick and Faye Malek.
