He is survived by: his children, Dan Katers (Karen), Chris Katers (Molly), Jeff Katers (Robbie), Charlie Katers (Jan), Delcine DeGreef (Michael), Mona Wolter and Nancy Baldschun; his sister-in-law Cindi Vandenack; his grandchildren, Jill Patek (Mark), Gina Katers, Elora DeGreef, Megan Verheyen (Adam), Elizabeth Katers, Jacob Wolter, Jenna Dewald (Derek), Alexander Baldschun (Abby), Alyssa Patterson (Tyus) and Nicholas Baldschun; his great grandchildren, Anthony Patek, Zackary Patek, Bridget Dewald, Haley Dewald, Brielle Verheyen and Jordan Verheyen; his siblings, Jean VandenBranden and William "Bill" Katers (Pat); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Legois (Dale) and LaVona Vandenack. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
