He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nickiel and Hattie Nickiel (Januczeuski); and his daughter Jackie. He is survived by: his wife Rose; his daughter Julie Brink (Dean); and his grandchildren, Anne Stuedemann (Zechariah), Dan Brink, David Brink, Debbie Brink (Jessup Rolfs) and Ruth Brink.
