She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Schanilec and Loretta Schanilec (Crabb); her husband Roger Merens; her brother-in-law Don Mueller; and her nephew Daniel Merens.
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Dennis Merens (Judy), Sandee Eiler (Tom) and Janice Mueller; and her nieces and nephews, Sarah Sires (David), Kristin Saharsky, Brian Saharsky (Kathie), Matthew Mueller (Carrie) and Andrew Mueller (Jessica). She is also survived by neighbors and many friends.
