She is survived by: her children, Kenneth, Kathleen, Janice, Patricia and Stephen; her grandchild Kelsey Rae; her close friends, Sharon and Gary Vanstraten; her children, Kelly Katers and Thomas O'Brien; her grandchildren, Kimberly Katers, Kelsey Rae Kelley (Taylor) of Jonathan and Sarah O'Brien; her siblings, Patricia Leary (Norman) and Stephen Halron (Sandi); her sisters-in-law, Carol Pleshek (Dick) and Ann Halron; her close friend Wendy Wohr; and her friends, Dan and Annette Chavez. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Janice may be made to benefit Unity Hospice and NAMI Brown County.
