She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Nelis and Marcella Nelis (Stiles); her brother Ronald Nelis; her nephew Michael Nelis; and her brother-in-law Gerald "Jerry" Sheehan.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel Sheier; her children, Jennifer Kreiser (David), Kevin Sheier (Carol) and Gregory Sheier; her grandchildren, Kaeli Kreiser, Michael Yeager, Alana Kreiser and Nicholas Sheier; her sisters-in-law, Michelle Sheehan and Sue Nelis; and her nieces and nephews, Mark Nelis (Shelly), Christopher Sheehan, Amy Nooyen (Mike), Katie McAndrew (Ryan) and Kelly Sheehan. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
