He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Minnie Kirt and George Kirt of Green Bay; his brother Robert Kirt (Rosemary); his son Joe (Susan); his grandsons, Landon and Luke; his close friend Sandie Martin; his friend Wisconsinites; and his wife Nancy Pfeiffer.
