She was predeceased by : her parents, Edwin C. Walters and Eleanore R. Walters (Koeppen) of Shorewood Wisconsin; her husband George A. Johnson; her brother James Walters (Lila); and her parents-in-law, George Edwin Johnson and Mary Christine Johnson (Altenthaler) of Oconto.
She is survived by : her children, Kenneth Johnson of Shorewood, Wisconsin, Linda Johnson Boyle (Robert) of Green Bay, Kathleeen Johnson of Green Bay, Steven Johnson (Kristine) of St. Charles, Missouri, Lisa Johnson Zeller (Peter) of De Pere, Wisconsin and Scott Johnson of Appleton, Wisconsin.; her grandchildren, Christina Bunker Liddicoat (Jeff), John Michael Bunker (Hilary), Brett Schauer (Chelsey), Benjamin Schauer (Anna Davis), Emilie Melendy (Mitchell), Tyler Johnson, Colin Johnson, Nichole Johnson, Abby Zeller, Nate Zeller, Jackson Zeller, Stephanie Johnson, Kenny Johnson and Bobby Johnson; her great grandchildren, Brock Liddicoat, Grant Liddicoat, Jack Bunker, Mason Bunker, Isla Melendy, Miles Melendy and Imogene Schauer; her brother Dr. Thomas Walters (Judy); and her godson Michael Destache. She is also survived by many other nephews and nieces.
The Johnson family wishes to thank the staff at Bayshore Village in Green Bay for their care and support of Joan, especially as her Alzheimer's disease worsened. We would like to encourage anyone interested in supporting Alzheimer's research to donate to Alzheimer's Association in Joan's memory.
