She was predeceased by: her father Jacob VanVenRoy; her sons, Joseph and David; her husband Elmer J. Bigfire Jr.; her siblings, Hilbert VanVenRoy and Rosemary (Dan Gossen); and her stepsiblings, Larry Heezen and Esther (Joe Bertrand).
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Bannow (Steve), Janet Bigfire (April Anderson) and Lisa Bigfire (Shane Skenandore); her brother Gene VanVenRoy; and her stepbrother George Heezen (Donna). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
