He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hewitt and Edith Hewitt (McArthur); and his son Gary Hewitt. He is survived by: his wife Janet Marie Hewitt (McClure); and his children, Bill Hewitt, Mary Kuczynski (Mike), Scott Hewitt (Stacey), Mike Hewitt (Patti) and Jay Hewitt (Cheri). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
