He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Farr and Ruth Farr (Reilly); his grandson Eric Farr; and his parents-in-law, Emanuel "Monnie" and Romay Calawerts.
He is survived by: his friends, Green Bay and Packer; his wife Janet Calawerts; his children, John Farr Jr. (Teresa), Brian Farr (Sherry), Laurie Kiffel and Sharon Farr; his grandchildren, Michelle Leiting (David), Matthew Farr, Ryan Farr (Julia), Andrew Farr (Beth), Megan Toivonen (Andrew), Tyler Farr and John Kiffel; his great grandchild Harper Leiting; and his siblings, David Farr (Kathie) and Kathleen Shaha. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
