He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Day and Judy Fournier; his father-in-law Norman Kitter; his aunts and uncles, Mary Ellen Zellner, Jean Sweda, Jackie Molkentine, Tim Day and Bob Zellner; his brothers, Keric and Michael Day; his brother-in-law Rick Winkelspecht; and his cousins, Amy Siehr and Alex Zellner.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kitter of Green Bay; his stepchildren, Hannah and Eli Chouinard; his siblings, Edward Day (Marsan), Laura Winkelspecht, Patrick Day (Marlene), Ron King, Cheryl Ellis (Clay) and Teri Ewing (Steve); his stepmother Lois Day; his aunt Libby Day; and his nephew Rick Beno.
