He was predeceased by : his parents, Norbert Friedel and Leone Friedel (Wood); his siblings, Richard, William and Mary; his siblings-in-law, Marlene Friedel and Art Emrath; and also, Leo and Ruth Braun.
He is survived by : his wife Jennifer Friedel; his sons, Michael (Anna) of Kingston, WA, Gregory (Lara) of Green Bay and Christopher (Deb) of Bozeman, MT; his siblings, Ron Friedel (Sandy) of Brown Deer, WI and Julie Petrie (Tom) of Fond du Lac; his grandchildren, Connor, Cameron Friedel and David Friedel; his stepgrandchildren, Cooper and Carter Fellows; and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Phillips (Bob) of Fond du Lac, Barb Emrath of Lisle, IL and Diane Friedel of Silver Spring, MD. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and countless friends.
They also request memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association in John's name.
