She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar "Ed" H. Berth and Bernice Berth (Kuntz); her husband Lee; her son Derek Blom; her granddaughter Emma Blom; her brother Gary Berth; her in-laws, Lawrence and Louise; and her siblings-in-law, Roger Blom, Wally Blom, Larry Blom and Arbutus Roth (Ralph).
She is survived by: her children, Dana Fraedrich and David Blom (Tessa); her children-in-law, Kevin Fraedrich, RaeAnn and Kristen; her grandchildren, Hannah Klunder, Paige Klunder, Dylan Fraedrich and Carson Blom; her sister Mary Ann Cartier (Paul); and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Berth, Shirley Blom, Grace Blom and Bev Blom. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Karen's name.
