She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Schroeder and Mary Schroeder (Taddy); her husband Michael; her mother-in-law Nathleen Mertz; her brother-in-law Robert Mertz; and her niece Heidi Nelson.
She is survived by: her son Adam Mertz (Lisa); her granddaughter Madeline Mertz; her siblings, Polly Hardrath (Dean), Kevin Schroeder, Mark Schroeder (Cathy), Claire Schroeder and Mary Sue Leland (Tom); her siblings-in-law, Peg Mertz, Andrew Mertz and Patrick Mertz (Valerie); and her nieces and nephews, Dennis, Todd, Heather, Holly, Aaron, Josh, Rachel, Amy, Laura, Andrea, Jackie, Ryan, Jason, Eric and Lucas. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
