He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Lauer and Lena Lauer (Schaap); his brother Donald Lauer; and his brother-in-law Leroy Fenner. He is survived by: his sister Rosemary Fenner; and his sibling's children, Heidi Fenner, Christine Kroeplien (James), Allen Fenner (Debra), Edward Lauer (Christine), Rina Zorn (Jeff) and Teresa Lauer.
