He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hoefler and Anna Hoefler (Hartman); his wife Fern Hoefler; his daughters, Deborah Lindquist and Sherry Halbach; his great grandchild Heaven; his siblings, Joseph Hoefler, Evelyn Koening (Robert), Veronica Buchman (Ellsworth), Mary Grube (Charles), Edmund Hoefler Jr., Lucille Koening (Ervin), Herbert Hoefler (Stella) and Edward Hoefler; his parents-in-law, Alfred and Florence Greve; his stepfather-in-law George Schmidt; and his brother-in-law Clyde Greve (Sue).
He is survived by: his daughters, Bonnie Bailey (Wayne), Cynthia Worthen (Dave), Lori Keltesch (Mike), Tammie Bernsteen and Jennifer Minaudo (Joe); his son-in-law Lee Halbach; and his brother George Hoefler (Millie). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
