He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Gutzman and Emma Gutzman (Hundt); his wife Darlene Nelson; and his son Ricky. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Dennis (Linda Gutzman), Susan (Michael Adelbush) and Todd (Sue Ellen Gutzman); his grandchildren, David Gutzman (Kylie), Lisa Houssiere (Charles), Lori Karam (Garrett), Kristine Gutzman (Alex Devine), Sarah Gicius (Steven), Amy Adelbush, Andrew, Tyler and Zachary Gutzman; his great grandchildren, Avery, Hunter Gutzman, Cash, Beau, Elle Houssiere, Bennett, Parker, Ellie, Brooke Karam, Madelyn, Regan and Emerson Gicius; and his sisters-in-law, Lee Nelsen and Arnell Jorgensen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for Calvary Lutheran Church youth programming.
