It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lori Richgels of Green Bay, Wisconsin, born in Wausau, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 19, 2024, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Lori departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lori may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear and the legacy Lori leaves behind.

She was predeceased by : her brother-in-law Jerry Grych. She is survived by : her parents, Lorraine Olejniczak (Baumann) and Stan Olejniczak; her daughter Lia Richgels; and her sister Lynn Grych (James Wipperfurth).

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (2040 Hillside Ln, Green Bay, WI 54302). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, other expressions of sympathy would be appreciated, such as donations to the UW Carbone Cancer Research Center.
