He was predeceased by: his father Martin Wassenberg; his wife LaVerne Virgiels; his son Craig Wassenberg; and his son-in-law Jerry Tasquin. He is survived by: his children, Steven Wassenberg (Rose) and Marlene Tasquin; and his grandchildren, Tammy Ferron, Gary Ferron (Sheila), Michelle LeCleir (Adam Krause), Matthew Wassenberg, Jason Wassenberg (Jasmine Schommer), Cindy Ingalls (Shane), Glen Pearce, Michelle Pearce and Cathlene Pearce. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.
