He is survived by: his wife Prabha; his daughters, Sumedha Ghate (Paul Oleksy), Sumitra Ghate and Sujata Ghate (Jeff Sneed); and his grandchildren, Manali, Anjali, Levi, Leela, Samir and Sonali. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
