She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Mertens and Laura Mertens (DeGrand) of Sugar Bush; her husband Richard V. Kaye; and her children, Darlene Rouse and Richard A. Kaye.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Spriggs, Mark Kaye (Shelley), Daniel Kaye (Tammy), Carol Becks (Ken), Lori Burzinski, Diane Guhl and Cindy Soucek (Bill); and her siblings, Rosella Fayas, Gene Mertens (Debbie) and Marvin Mertens (Charlotte). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, further survived by many nieces, and nephews.
