She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Freix and Rose Freix (Barta); her husband Jerome "Jerry" Dennis Leahy; her daughter Margaret "Peggy"; and her sons-in-law, Don Awe, Pat Ringer and Rick Bain.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Ringer, Daniel Leahy (Diane Heinly-Leahy), Sharon Frisque (Paul), Colleen Bain, Diane Greatens (Gary), Tim Leahy (Kate), Paul Leahy (Diane), Michelle Crooks, Joe Janquart and Jennifer Stary (Gregg); and her close friend Judy. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 1 sister-in-law.
