He is survived by: his son Samuel Joseph Dorvinen; his wife Luann (Kempen); his brothers, Steven Dorvinen (Mary) and Michael Dorvinen (Kari); his half-sister Lori Hessoun; Patrick Kempen (Barbara), Mark Kempen (Christine), Jacob Kempen, Joann Pechacek, Myron Kempen (Linda), Byron Kempen (Ida), Arthur Kempen, Luke Kempen (Rhonda), Carla Kempen, Janel West (Loren) and Tilla Paral (David). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
