He is survived by: his stepson Mike Pienta (Julie) of Luxemburg, WI; his stepgrandchildren, Ariauna, Lucy, Ruby and Ivy; his stepdaughter Nina Penning (Aaron) of Rochester, MN; his stepgrandchild Zoey; and his nephew Nicholas Root. He is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
