He is survived by: his children, Jeff Pludeman (Kathy), Sandra Wallace (Ron) and Cindy Hopper (Steve); his stepdaughter Michelle Van Der (Brabant); his grandchildren, Chris Wallace, Nicholas Wallace (Chelsea), Sarah Hopper, William Hopper, Jesse Brabant and Zander Van Der Wegen; and his siblings, Roger Pludeman (Carol) and Jerry Pludeman (Joanne). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Merle's name.
