Merlin Edward Zimmer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Merlin Edward Zimmer (Green Bay, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 12, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Zimmer and Linda Zimmer (Brusewitz) of Green Bay, Wisconsin.; his siblings, Betty (Leonard Marohl), Jerrolyn (Jerry Schirk), Loren Zimmer and Glenn Zimmer; his siblings-in-law, Trish Schlottman and Darrell Burtymowicz; his godsons, Joel Schirk and Bruce Marohl; his nephew Keith Marohl; and his parents-in-law, Richard and Arvilla Schlottman.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Schlottman of John's Lutheran Church; his son Zachary (Cheryl); his granddaughter Zoey Zimmer; his sister Karlene Butrymowicz; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Zimmer and Arnie Schlottman. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established to help children with illnesses or disabilities, Life Striders (Waukesha, WI), CP (Green Bay) or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (Brookfield, WI).
