He is survived by : his daughter Kira Shirer; his siblings, Patricia Beard (Mark), Joanne Mehrtens (Bruce) and Ralph Shirer III; his granddaughter Isabella Shirer; and his nieces, Meghann Dobrovolsky (Matt) and Kayleigh Mehrtens. He is also survived by his family and friends.
