He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Bodart and Mae Gruetzmacher; his siblings, Irene, Robert Bodart (Beverly) and LaVern Bodart (Janice); and his son Michael Bodart (Pamela) of Dunkirk, MD.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Valerie Rivera (Yvann), Laura Marcelin (Daniel), Kendra, Hayley Phillips, Angela, Vanna Van Oss, Alex (Ashley), Jake Bodart (Ritchie Stone), Michelle, Renee, Teresa Bodart, Ashleigh Schubert (Josh), D. J. Quinnell, Jaden Bacon, Brooklynn and Bennett Steier; his great grandchildren, Mia, Dominic, Ethan Schubert, Shontell, Jayshon Marcelin, Aero, Alyxa and Ayva Rivera; his wife Shirley Ann Bartels of Mary's Church; and his siblings, Barbara Bushmaker (Dick) and Butch Bodart (Carol).
