He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas M. Wahl and Annette Wahl (Voelker); his wife Joan (Ryan); his sister Nancy Riley (Riley); his in-laws, Tom Riley, John Meisel, Daryl Kapalin, Pat Ryan, Jim and Sharon Ryan; and his nieces, Jennifer Meisel and Melissa Kapalin.
He is survived by: his sons, Nic Jr. (Sally) and Scott (Nim); his grandsons, Nicholas (Sofia), Jack and Alec Wahl; his sisters, Sandi Cramberg (Cramberg) and Mary Meisel (Meisel); and his in-laws, Pokey Cramberg, Kathy Kapalin and Tammy Ryan. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Catholic Church (333 Hilltop Dr, Green Bay, WI 54301). A Mass was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Book Hotel Resurrection Catholic Church (333 Hilltop Dr, Green Bay, WI 54301).
In lieu of flowers, gifts to Resurrection Parish or the Wisconsin State Golf Association Foundation (for youth golf in Wisconsin) are appreciated.
